Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hi, as I've purchased a 55 plate, stock monster 6 a few days ago. Flew up to Aberdeen just to get it and drove it down to Henley-on-Thames. :) Nice little trip on the very first day. :whip: Fitting Damond Motorsports power steering cooler kit and new anti-roll and drop link stabilizers today, and doing a general cleanup of the vehicle. Will post pictures. :) Any advice about the car is more than welcome!

Best,
David

That is a tidy trip to get the right car. It'll be the "low" tax on a 55 plate then?

Sounds like you got yourself a good one.
Great cars these if maintained well

Don't really wanna boast   , but I've technically picked the car up for pocket money. £1200. Bought two brand new Goodyear Asymmetric 2's (£228), ordered a Damond Motorsports Power Steering Kit from the US (£110 with shipping and customs+VAT included), which got here in a week. Waiting for https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272524156029 & https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322993624438 & https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291861723314 to arrive, and technically I have a new car. It has 85k on the clock, some slight rust on the wheel arches, but these can get that sorted: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302466581204 & https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302466581215. Look at me! Picking up a sick car for cheap, and already spending thousands on it.

Wow, very nice David.

Any updates on the car? You said you'd post some photos!

I'll be joining the team tomorrow!

'Till then... :hats:
